Surviving "Paradise" by Susan Willoch Shaver is about a Southern woman who relocates to a new town, full of great expectation and excitement, only to be met by a ridiculous set of people and circumstances. It is a guilty pleasure read with sinister undertones. The novel will be featured at the LA Times Book Festival on the campus of USC April 30-May 1st.
