A musician and singer-songwriter, Sharine Borslien left rural Wisconsin for the lights of Los Angeles in pursuit of love and a major label recording contract.
After fifteen years of heart-hunting, honing her craft and banging her head against entertainment industry doors, she moved to central California, married her guitar-slinging Detroit-born boyfriend, and started teaching private lessons for voice, guitar and other instruments.
She never thought she would write a book.
Borslien lives in Atascadero with her husband, Ron, and their two Persian cats, Scooter and Nilla.
Some of her favorite playgrounds include her imagination, PhotoShop, colorful writing pads, smooth asphalt on long bicycle rides, listening to Led Zeppelin on the living room stereo by candlelight, winery tasting rooms, the recording studio, large performing stages, and her kitchen, which is too small, but shes dealing with it.
